29 CFR 1926.350(a)(10): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinder or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour. A.) Wm. T. Spaeder Co., Inc., 3700 Route 957, Russell, PA 16345, storage area, on or about January 14, 2014 and times prior thereto: An oxygen cylinder and an acetylene cylinder were stored together on a cart. Two additional acetylene cylinders were stored within seven feet of the oxygen cylinder. Noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour was not utilized as a means of protection.

Spaeder Co., Inc., 3700 Route 957, Russell, PA 16345, storage trailer, on or about January 14, 2014 and times prior thereto: A Michigan 6-feet fiberglass folding step ladder (M/N: 371706) that was available for employee use had damage consisting of bent rear braces. The ladder was not tagged, removed from the site, and/or rendered inoperable through some other equally effective means or methods.
