29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(21): Employees were not grasping the ladder with at least one hand when progressing up and/or down the ladder: a) Location: 674 Middletown-Odessa Road, Middletown, DE- An employee was climbing the ladder while he had tools in one hand which prevented him from grasping the ladder with at least one hand. Observed on 8/12/14. NOTE: Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
