29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i): Work space was less than 30 inches wide in front of electric equipment operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less:  Fire Office building:  On or about April 8, 2015 and times prior thereto, the District Ranger did not ensure that the electrical panel was not blocked by a desk.  This exposed employees to a tripping hazard from the desk being in the way.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:  Open Barn:  On or about April 8, 2015 and times prior thereto the District Ranger did not ensure that the pressure on an air nozzle would reduce to below 30 psi.  This exposed employees to potential air embolism or laceration hazard if it contacted their skin.  The Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 978154, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on December 30, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at Bend Pine Administration in Bend, Oregon.  The Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.242(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 903923, notice number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on July 1, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at Tiller Ranger District in Roseburg, Oregon.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4): Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times:  Fire building office:  On or about April 8, 2015 and times prior thereto, the District Ranger did not ensure that the emergency light was in working order.  This exposed employees to smoke inhalation hazard from delays in leaving the building during a emergency.
