29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by ingoing nip points and rotating parts:  a) Needle Punch # 2 Area: The employer did not ensure that employees are protected from amputation hazards through machine guarding of rollers and other rotating parts. On 12/17/2015 an employee sustained a laceration to his right palm area while working on the unguarded rollers on the Needle Punch # 2 machine.    Precision Custom Coating was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 942873, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/16/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 200 Maltese Drive, Totowa, New Jersey 07512.  Precision Custom Coating was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314680570, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/12/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 200 Maltese Drive, Totowa, New Jersey 07512.
