29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:  a) Commercial property at 134 Route 73 North in Voorhees, NJ, 08043- Rooftop: Employees worked from a commercial property roof at heights of approximately 15 feet with no means of fall protection at or near the edge of the roof directly over newly constructed concrete with reinforcing steel protruding which was not capped or protected on or about 1/14/16.   NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a) Commercial property at 134 Route 73 North in Voorhees, NJ, 08043 - second floor: Employees worked from a commercial facility roof at approximately 15 feet without any means of fall protection on or about 1/14/16.    NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.   BERLIN BUILDERS; WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILAR STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1070855 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2, ISSUED ON 9/23/15.
