29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area. a) Lorain County Automotive Systems Inc., 101 Liberty Court Elyria, OH, on or about August 29, 2016 the employer did not train employees on hazardous chemicals in the workplace. Employees were exposed to propane fuel which can cause adverse health effects, such as but not limited to, unconsciousness, asphyxia. Propane also has the physical hazard of being explosive. Employees were exposed to the hazard of propane while utilizing and changing out fuel tanks and to the hazards of combustion byproducts of propane such as carbon monoxide.

Employees were exposed to propane fuel which can cause adverse health effects, such as but not limited to, unconsciousness, asphyxia. Propane also has the physical hazard of being explosive. Employees were exposed to the hazard of propane while utilizing and changing out fuel tanks and to the hazards of combustion byproducts of propane such as carbon monoxide.

Employees were exposed to propane fuel which can cause adverse health effects, such as but not limited to, unconsciousness, asphyxia. Propane also has the physical hazard of being explosive. Employees were exposed to the hazard of propane while utilizing and changing out fuel tanks and to the hazards of combustion byproducts of propane such as carbon monoxide. Lack of a safety data sheet could limit or delay training and emergency response measures in the event of an accident.
