29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels:  On or about August 30, 2016, the employer did not establish an audiometric testing program for an employee operating the spiral machine in the Forming Department, who was exposed to continuous noise at 75.68% of the action level noise exposure (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 decibels) or the equivalent sound level of approximately 87.9 decibels during 442 minute sampling period; exposure calculations included a zero (0) increment for the 38 minutes not sampled.  WIRE PRODUCTS INC. OF FLORIDA was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1175303, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 12, 2016 with respect to a workplace located at 4300 NW 10th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
