29 CFR 1910.178(q)(6): Industrial trucks were altered so that the relative positions of the various parts were different from what they were when originally received from the manufacturer, or they were altered either by the addition of extra parts not provided by the manufacturer or by the elimination of parts.    (a)  Hyster 30 Forklift (Model #H30 FT & Serial #G001V02014P) was modified without the manufactures approval.  The employer attached wired rope(s) between the forklift mast and the forklift overhead protection.      (b) Yale Forklift (Model #GLP030VXNRSEC84 & Serial #D810V01603N) was modified without manufactures approval.  The employer attached wired rope(s) between the forklift mast and the forklift overhead protection.
