29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    The employer is failing to protect employees from amputation hazards associated with using the powder charge machine.  This was most recently evident during an inspection on June 23, 2017 at the facility located at 3625 W. Old Potash Hwy, Grand Island, NE 68803.  The employer has employees operating the powder charge machine which does not have a guard to prevent employees from placing their hands near the point of operation to remove the case plate.
