29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   On or about July 27, 2017, employees were engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 18 feet.  Fall protection was not being utilized.    Premier Roofing Design, Inc. dba Top Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 995814, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 13, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 911 W. 50th Pl., Chicago, IL 60609.  Premier Roofing Design, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 549112, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on November 15, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 406 Kenwood Ave. Champaign, IL.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 1903.19(d).
