29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(i): Adequate precautions are not taken to prevent the ignition of flammable vapors. Sources of ignition include but are not limited to open flames; lightning; smoking; cutting and welding; hot surfaces; frictional heat; static, electrical, and mechanical sparks; spontaneous ignition, including heat-producing chemical reactions; and radiant heat.  This violation was observed on or about July 5, 2017, when the employer does not ensure that adequate precautions are taken to prevent the ignition of flammable vapors exposing employees to hazards associated with fire and explosion:    a) The filters in use in the ventilation system are not grounded.    b) The hose and coupling that makes up the vent hose in use as a blowdown in the Lorcoat process is not bonded.    c) The boots of the Lorcoat process operator are coated in the Lorcoat material which eliminates antistatic properties of the boots.    d) The boots of the helper in the Lorcoat process are not electrostatic dissipative (ESD).
