The employee sustained electrical burn to his hand when he made contact with an energized wire.

29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means:   1370 Timberlake Manor Parkway, Chesterfield: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions.  The employees are permitted to work in close proximity to electric power circuits without protecting the employees against accidental contact.      On or about 08/01/2017 an employee was badly injured when the employee came in contact with a live wire while replacing old electrical lighting fixtures with new different fixtures.  The employee was given a key to access the "Electrical Room" but the employee did not go into the "Electrical Room" to identify which circuit breakers to de-energize before he started to work on the wires.   He only turned the switch to an "Off" position.
