29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    a) Department 13, Tool Room, on or about 4/17/18:  Cincinnati Bickford drill press #532 was not equipped with a chuck and tool guard.    b) Department 13, Tool Room, on or about 4/17/18:  Bridgeport Mill was not equipped with a chuck and tool guard.    c)  Department 13, Tool Room, on or about 4/17/18:  Drill Press #414 was not equipped with a chuck and tool guard.    d)  Department 1, Automatic Area, on or about 4/17/18:  Bar machines, including but not limited to, #502, #504, and #858, were operating with doors open and the safety interlocks bypassed.  Wire hooks were used in lieu of guarding to clear jammed parts which exposed employees to rotating parts and point of operation hazards.
