29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:    On or about September 11, 2018 at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was working on the ground as roofing material was being removed from the home and was not wearing a hard hat and could have been struck by the material.    Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.    On or about September 11, 2018 at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was using a pneumatic nail gun and was not wearing safety glasses, thereby exposing the employee to hazards associated with eye injuries.    Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    On or about September 11, 2018 at the above addressed jobsite, employees were performing roofing operations approximately 14.3 feet to 20.6 feet above the ground and were not using fall protection, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
