29 CFR 1910.244(b): The blast cleaning nozzles were not equipped with an operating valve which must be held open manually: a) Abrasive Blasting Booth, Erie Forge and Steel, Inc. On or about October 5, 2018, the locking lever on the KwikFire 150 Pneumatic Remote Control Handle abrasive blasting nozzle was taped down, allowing the operating valve to remain open without the application of continuous hand pressure by the operator.
