29 CFR 1926.502(d)(17): The attachment point of the body harness was not located in the center of the wearer's back near shoulder level, or above the wearer's head:    (a) On or about November 16, 2018 - 530 Brookhaven Drive, Odenville, AL, employees removing shingles and related materials on a steep-sloped (8:12) roof were using mountain climbing belts for fall protection in lieu of an appropriate personal fall arrest system exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 16 feet, 2 inches at the rear end of the roof.      (b) On or about November 16, 2018 - 530 Brookhaven Drive, Odenville, AL, employees removing shingles and related materials on a steep-sloped (8:12) roof were using mountain climbing belts for fall protection in lieu of an appropriate personal fall arrest system exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 19 feet, 2 inches at the front end of the roof.
