29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(ii): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards, based on the mechanical strength and durability, including, for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment, the adequacy of the protection thus provided:   a.)     On or about June 19, 2019, the employer did not ensure the employees were protected while using the Festool TS 75 EQ Circular saw. Employees are required to use the saw to cut various door panels with a damaged orange extension cord, exposing them to electric shock hazards.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(D):  Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used: Where attached to building surfaces.   a.)     On or about June 19, 2019, the employer did not ensure the employees were protected while using the Festool TS 75 EQ Circular saw. A temporary flexible cord was connected to an outlet on a post approximately 10ft away from the saw in lieu of permanent wiring.
