29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace. This standard is applicable to shipyard employment by 1915.154 that incorporates the General Industry requirement:  Dry Dock 3: Members of the Emergency Response Team who are certified to don SCBAs in the event of an emergency, were not provided with medical evaluations.

29 CFR 1915.157(a): The employer did not ensure that employees used appropriate hand protection or protective clothing when exposed to hazards such as skin absorption of harmful substances, severe cuts, lacerations, abrasions, punctures, chemical burns, thermal burns, harmful temperature extremes, and sharp objects.  Dry Dock 3: An employee was observed handling dry ice without adequate hand protection.
