ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch:  a) West wall Room #129: A Dyna Corp bench grinder, serial number C4310230, had a space of 1-1/4 inches between the abrasive wheel and the peripheral member due to the grinder not being equipped with a tongue guard.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
