29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): In any workplace where respirators were necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators were required by the employer, the employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures. A program was not updated as necessary to reflect those changes in workplace conditions that affect respirator use. The employer did not include in the program the provisions of this section, as applicable:    a) 186 Leesville Avenue, Rahway, NJ 07065 - Shop area    The employer did not establish a written respiratory protection program to cover employees who are required to wear 3M half face respirators Model 5201 while buffing car headlights and working with chemicals such as but not limited to 3M Rubbing Compound 05973, containing 15 % - 40 % silica.    Condition observed on or about 10/18/2019    WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19

The employer did not provide a medical evaluation prior to employees using the respirator in the workplace.
