29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing, nip points and rotating parts.  a) On or about 12/10/2020, at 2076 Memorial Park Drive Gainesville, Georgia, Marination Room, employees were exposed to laceration and amputation hazards where a Blending Auger had a guard with openings measuring 6" x 7" where employees could access auger during normal production.   b) On or about 12/10/2020, at 2076 Memorial Park Drive Gainesville, Georgia, Marination Room, employees were exposed to laceration and amputation hazards where the top of the blender was left open during normal operation and employees were within 24" of blending operation.  c) On or about 12/10/2020, at 2076 Memorial Park Drive Gainesville, Georgia, Marination Room, employees were exposed to laceration and amputation hazards where the Pre-Breaker Auger had an unguarded ingoing nip point within 24" where employees were exposed on a platform/stand located beside the auger.  d) On or about 12/10/2020, at 2076 Memorial Park Drive Gainesville, Georgia, Marination Room, employees were exposed to laceration and amputation hazards where the Cleated Block Conveyor Belt had an unguarded ingoing nip point located at the bottom of the conveyor, leaving space where an employee's hand can enter.  Additionally, an unguarded pinch point exists in the area between the cleated conveyor and the table.
