29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. (a) Jobsite, Main Roof: On or about August 6, 2021, two employees were working on the main roof and they were not protected from falling to the ground. The fall hazard to the employees was about 48 feet. (b) Jobsite, Entrance Way Roof: On or about August 6, 2021, an employee was working on a roof above an entrance way to the building and he was not protected from falling to the ground. The fall hazard was about 11 feet.

29 CFR 1926.503(c)(3):When the employer has reason to believe that any affected employee who has already been trained does not have the understanding and skill required by paragraph (a) of this section, the employer shall retrain each such employee: (a) Jobsite: On or about August 6, 2021, the employer needs to retrain his two employees on how and when to use fall protection when working from a roof.
