29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employees using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, and whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) was used: Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park located at 8401 Roosevelt Blvd. Philadelphia, PA: (a) On or about October 14, 2021 and thereafter, employees required to wear filtering facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to required use. The employer required employees to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators such as but not limited to Makrite SEKURA (TC-84A-7638), and 3M 1860 (38-9019-1493-7) respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while providing care to suspected and confirmed positive COVID-19 residents. (b) On or about August 18, 2021, the employer did not ensure that employees required to use respirators were fit tested with the same make, model, and size whenever new respirator was used at the site. The employer required employees to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators such as but not limited to Makrite SEKURA (TC-84A-7638), and 3M 1860 (38-9019-1493-7) respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while providing care to suspected and confirmed positive COVID-19 residents.
