OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while performing well servicing operations.  On or about September 7th, 2021, employees of Red Diamond Energy Services were exposed to struck-by hazards from the traveling block while performing well servicing operations.

29 CFR  1910.28(b)(1)(i):29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  On or about September 7th, 2021, employees of Red Diamond Energy Services performing oil well servicing operations at Sequoia Lease #63-6-IH  were exposed to falls in excess of four feet.
