29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) At 300 Industrial Park Blvd, Nashville, GA 31639, Plant 5, on or about October 13, 2021, and at times prior to, the employer failed to provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes in close proximity of employees who were working with CADOX D-50, a corrosive, thereby exposing employees to chemical hazards. b) At 300 Industrial Park Blvd, Nashville, GA 31639, Plant 5, on or about October 13, 2021, and at times prior to, the employer failed to provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes in close proximity of employees who were working with acetone, surface cleaner, and Flex-Z 1.0, among other chemicals, thereby exposing employees to chemical hazards.

Examinations were not made at least daily. Where industrial trucks are used on a round-the-clock basis, they were not examined after each shift: a) At 300 Industrial Park Blvd, Nashville, GA 31639, Plant 5, on the southwest side, on or about October 13, 2021, the employer failed to ensure a forklift was examined daily. A forklift was found to be in operation at the time of inspection without a working horn, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1910.133(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee, who wore prescription lenses while engaged in operations that involved eye hazards, used protection that incorporated the prescription in its design, or wore eye protection over the prescription glasses or protective lenses with side shields. a) At 300 Industrial Park Blvd, Nashville, GA 31639, Plant 5, on or about October 13, 2021, and at times prior to, the employer failed to ensure employees who wore prescription glasses were protected from eye injuries, in that eye protection over the prescription glasses was not enforced, thereby exposing employees' eyes to struck-by hazards. Chaparral Boats, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.133(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1518764, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 27, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 300 Industrial Park Blvd, Nashville, GA 31639.
