29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  (a)Wilson Trailer Company at 3602 Broadway Avenue, Yankton, SD 57078: On or about and at times prior to February 22, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards when working from the walkway between the racks of the side pits, in that the orientation of the vertical and horizontal section of the rack created floor openings approximately 17 inches by 31inches to the pit below, depending on the position of the rack during production.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet.   (b)Wilson Trailer Company at 3602 Broadway Avenue, Yankton, SD 57078: On or about and at times prior to February 22, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards when working from the second level of the initial setup stall, in that adequate fall protection was not provided when employees perform work in proximity to; (1) a trailer side panel access door or other openings in the side panel and (2) the front or rear portion of the trailer side panel where gaps between the side panels and fixed guardrails of the second level exist.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet.   (c)Wilson Trailer Company at 3602 Broadway Avenue, Yankton, SD 57078: On or about and at times prior to February 22, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards when working from the catwalk between the first and second setup stalls.  The opening between the catwalk and the trailer was approximately 17 inches by 102 inches.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet.
