29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1) Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(b) or (c):  a) On or about 16/21/2022 at a water line project located near 280 Aris Avenue, Buffalo, New York; an employee was in an excavation to make a water line connection. The excavation was approximately 6'-0" feet deep with vertical walls and not properly protected from cave-ins.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED  716 Site Contracting Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard,  which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1372433, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/17/2019, with respect to a workplace located at3635 Delilah Drive, Hamburg, New York.
