29 CFR 1910.151(b):There was neither an infirmary, clinic, or hospital used for the treatment of all injured employees in near proximity to the workplace nor a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid: CASA GRAND BORDER PATROL STATION: The employer failed to ensure that employees were adequately trained to provide first aid while working in an area where there was no infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity. On September 29, 2022, a Border Patrol Agent was thrown from his horse while patrolling in a remote location and it took 19 minutes for necessary medical services to arrive on scene.

29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2):The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. CASA GRANDE BORDER PATROL STATION 396 N. CAMINO MERCADO, CASA GRANDE AZ 85122: On or about September 29th, 2022, the employer failed to report the in-patient hospitalization of an employee who was thrown from his horse while on patrol. A report of the incident was not received by OSHA until October 5th, 2022.
