29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:  a. 500 PARQ Lane (PARQ Parsippany), Parsippany, NJ - Building C  The employer did provide employees retraining in the usage of eye protection while engaged in activities which required their usage. An employee engaged in the cutting of reinforcing steel was not proved additional training on elimination of the hazards associated with that work activity.  Violation observed on or about January 9, 2023

29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor shall not have other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function:  a. 500 PARQ Lane (PARQ Parsippany), Parsippany, NJ - Building C  The employer did not ensure that the safety monitor was not engaged in activities that took his attention away from monitoring employees engaged in the installation of reinforcing steel on the second level of the structure.  Violation observed on or about January 9, 2023
