29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): This standard is applicable to construction employment as defined by 1926.602(d): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l):  On or about April 13, 2023: Employees engaged in framing construction activities at 1660 North 170th Circle, Lincoln, Nebraska were exposed to struck-by hazards in that the employer failed to ensure each forklift operator received training, which shall include topics such as operating instructions and limitations, and evaluation.
