29 CFR 1910.28(c)(3): (3) The employer did not ensure the area was barricaded into which objects could fall, prohibiting employees from entering the barricaded area, and keeping objects far enough from an edge or opening to prevent them from falling to a lower level.   On or about December 29, 2023, at a rig on wellsite Blaze M9, employees utilized the derrick-side winch to lower a mast cylinder. Employees in the drop zone of the load were exposed to struck-by hazards.
