29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employees were not trained on the physical, health, simple asphyxiation, combustible dust, and pyrophoric gas hazards, as well as hazards not otherwise classified, of the chemicals in the work area:  a)	On or about April 28, 2024, Precise Finishing Company Inc., did not train employee(s) on the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area.  Employee(s) were exposed to hazardous chemicals used in plating operations including sulfuric acid (H?SO?) and nitric acid (HNO?), nickel and tin.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): The employer did not train employees on the measures employees can take to protect themselves from these hazards, including specific procedures the employer has implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment to be used; and,  a) On or about April 28, 2024, Precise Finishing Company Inc., did not train employee(s) on the measures, such as specific procedures, appropriate work practices, and emergency procedures in accordance with this section, necessary to protect from chemical hazards used in plating operations including Sulfuric Acid and Nitric Acid.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
