1926.20(b)(2): Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers.  On or about March 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure that frequent and regular inspections were conducted for employees engaged in residential construction activities on all areas of a roof located at Lot 90 Harrington CT Ave NE, Canton Ohio 44721.  BH Roofing Company LTD was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.20(b)(2) Frequent and Regular Inspections), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1629251, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (1/3/2023), with respect to a workplace located at 6827 Page Road, Streetsboro, OH 44241.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    On or about March 25, 2024, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at Lot 90 Harrington CT Ave NE, Canton, Ohio 44721; the employer did not ensure employees working on a residential roof were protected from a fall of approximately 11.2 feet by utilizing a fall protection system.  BH Roofing Company LTD was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(10) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1517382, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (4/14/2021), with respect to a workplace located at 7780 Wales Ave NW, N. Canton Ohio 44720.
