29 CFR  1910.178(n)(6): Industrial truck drivers were not required to look in the direction of and keep a clear view of the path of travel:   (a) The Home Depot, 2445 Springfield Avenue Vauxhall, NJ 07088  On or about May 31, 2024 the employer failed to ensure that forklift operators keep a clear view of the path of travel. An employee operated a forklift truck to transport pallets of stacked concrete mortar, traveling forward with the load blocking his view of the path of travel. The merchandise was stacked higher than the operator's sight line.  The Home Depot Inc. Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.178(n)(6)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1583314, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 10/27/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8500 Willard Dr. Breinigsville, PA 32765 and   The Home Depot Inc. Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.178(n)(6)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1527607, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/14/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 371 Putnam Pike.
