The J1 Paper Machine Winder does not have adequate guarding to prevent employees from contacting the rotating blades while inside the slitter area.

Domtar Paper Company, LLC, , on or about 10/16/2024, and times prior thereto: Employees were exposed to two unguarded holes at the J1 paper winder machine slitter area. Two holes measuring 2 feet long by 1 foot 1 inches wide did not have a cover preventing employees from stepping into the holes. Employees were exposed to falls of 13 feet 2 inches to the lower level.
