29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  In the facility at 19 Sitarz Ave, Chicopee, MA:  On or about January 29, 2025, and at times prior, employees cleaned floors, equipment, and other surfaces daily using corrosive cleaning chemicals such as Chlorinated Degreaser LD3152, which contains sodium hypochlorite (CAS Number: 7681-52-9) and sodium hydroxide (CAS Number: 1310-73-2), and Sull-tec 1220, which also contains sodium hydroxide, and the employer did not have a written hazard communication program.

29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1)(i):  The employer did not compile a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet:  In the facility at 19 Sitarz Ave, Chicopee, MA:  On or about January 29, 2025, and at times prior, employees cleaned floors, equipment, and other surfaces daily using corrosive cleaning chemicals such as Chlorinated Degreaser LD3152, which contains sodium hypochlorite (CAS Number: 7681-52-9) and sodium hydroxide (CAS Number: 1310-73-2), and Sull-tec 1220, which also contains sodium hydroxide, and the employer had not compiled a current hazardous chemical inventory cross-referenced to the appropriate safety data sheet.
