29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of methylene bisphenyl isocyanate (MDI) listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the ceiling concentration of 0.02 PPM: a) On June 18, 2025, in the mechanical repair shop, a welder using an arc gouger to cut into insulated rail cars was exposed to methylene bisphenyl isocyanate (MDI) at a ceiling level of 0.029 parts per million, approximately 1.443 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) for methylene bisphenyl isocyanate (MDI) of 0.02 parts per million. Sampling was conducted for 15 minutes.
