On or about 5/29/2025 the employer did not ensure that the paint pit was free from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues from the spraying of E61 RC21 Shopcoat Primer. The Paint Pit walls, floor, painting supports, chain of the overhead lift, workstation, paint hose, and spray gun was covered in dried overspray. Per the Shopcoat Primer safety data sheet, the paint is categorized as a flammable liquid with a flash point of of 50°F. Abatement certification is required.
