29 CFR  1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c).  On or about June 18, 2025, on the east side of the worksite, an employee was working inside an excavation without an adequate form of cave-in protection while conducting excavation activities.  The Los Fierro Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1656844, citation number 1 item number 6 and was affirmed as a final order on May 12, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 12650 Pellicano Dr. El Paso, TX 79938.
