29 CFR 1910.106(d)(4)(i): Inside storage rooms were not constructed to meet the required fire-resistive rating for their use. Openings to other rooms or buildings were not provided with noncombustible liquid-tight raised sills or ramps at least 4 inches in height, or the floor in the storage area were not at least 4 inches below the surrounding floor. Openings were not provided with approved self-closing fire doors. The room was not liquid-tight where the walls join the floor. A permissible alternate to the sill or ramp was not an open-grated trench inside of the room which drains to a safe location:  a) Paint Room: On July 15, 2025, and times prior thereto, the employer stored approximately 1,500 gallons of Category 2 and 3 Flammable Liquids including but not limited to Carboline Carbothane 133 LH Part A and B, Amercoat 370 and 370 Cure, Pitthane Ultra LS, and Carboline Urethane Converter 8800. The room was level with the connected "Wet Booth" and did not have drains or a raised sill. The door was not a self-closing fire door and the room was not liquid tight.
