29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):  The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying objects while using a nail gun:  a)   On the top plate and in the rafters of a newly constructed residential home, located at 339 Cold Creek Pass, Lot 593, Port Wentworth, GA, on or about December 11, 2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that the use of eye protection was not enforced for employees using a pneumatic nail guns while performing framing activities.  Roberto Amaya was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1634895, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on March 22, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 217 Turpentine Trail, Bloomingdale, GA.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a)  On the top plate and in the rafters of a newly constructed residential home, located at 339 Cold Creek Pass, Lot 593, Port Wentworth, GA, on or about December 11, 2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 10 feet, in that employees were directed to perform framing without the use of fall protection.  Roberto Amaya was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1634895, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 22, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 217 Turpentine Trail, Bloomingdale, GA.
