29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): All respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals, and were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve. Construction trailer : On or about February 24, 2026, two 3M 6000 Half-Face respirators were not properly stored and cleaned when not in use. This condition exposed the employees using the respirator to health hazards. 29 CFR 1915.154 - Respiratory protection for shipyard employment is covered by 29 CFR 1910.134

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provided at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals: Rigging Equipment Storage Area: On or about February 24, 2026, employees engaged in maintenance activities, were exposed to health hazards in that the employer did not label a secondary chemical container containing an unknown substance. OSHA Instruction: Shipyard Employment "Tool Bag" Directive - CPL 02-00-162 allows for the applicability of 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii) in the ship building and ship repair industry.
