An employee was polishing a shaft on a lathe with an emry cloth when his hand became caught, pulling him into the lathe and injuring his right hand. He fractured the ring and pinky fingers on his right hand and sustained damage to the flesh as well. His right pinky finger was amputated due to the damage.

An employee was cutting extruded aluminum framing material using a horizontal band saw. She went to grab a rag in the machine when the rag contacted the blade and pulled her hand in toward the blade, resulting in a partial amputation of the right index finger.

The fingertip was amputated.
