The injured employee was in the process of spraying a tacky solution onto the conveyor belt of a dump truck when his arm got caught and he received skin burns/abrasions on his left forearm and left hand. He was admitted to the hospital and had an incision to relieve the swelling.

On November 4, 2020, at approximately 11:45 AM, two Ranger Construction employees were unloading a skid steer loader from a tandem-axle heavy equipment trailer that was attached to a pickup truck. One employee was driving the loader down the trailer's loading ramp when the latch on the truck receiver was released. The weight of the loader on the back of the trailer caused the ring of the trailer receiver to pop up, contacting the latch and pinching the injured employee's left index finger between the latch and the hitch receiver. The fingertip was amputated.
A vehicle struck a guardrail that was immediately behind the employee. The employee jumped over a guardrail and then fell approximately 20 feet into a cattle crossing and sustained multiple broken bones and injuries to the teeth.
