While removing scrap metal from a lathe, an employee's right thumb was crushed between the lathe and saddle.
An employee was using a welding machine. As the employee moved the coupler over to the correct location, the projection welder actuated, coming down on their right hand. The employee sustained a right index finger fracture and a partial amputation of the middle finger.
