Final narrative
On or about June 5, 2015, an employee working with waste cement drums felt light-headed and was hospitalized.
Four employees were operating and overseeing a machine used to cut, re-roll, and patch fabrics and rubber. After the fabric in the machine was cut, smoothed out, and wound up, the injured employee raised the blade bar and began smoothing the fabric again. They then lowered the blade bar back into place, crushing their left thumb between the blade bar and the yellow resting block on the machine.
On or about June 23, 2016, an employee was pulling trim from a conveyor belt when the trim broke, causing the employee to fall backwards. During the fall, the employee's left arm was caught under a roller, breaking it.
On September 25, 2023, an employee was working in the body department installing doors, hoods, and tailgates. The employee finished their shift and was hospitalized later that evening for a back injury.
