On June 9, 2015, an employee was running on the side of a waste collection truck as the truck backed down a dead-end street. As the truck was moving, the employee attempted to mount the steps located on the rear. He missed the step and fell. The right rear outside tire ran over his lower left leg, breaking it. The employee was hospitalized.
