An employee became ill from dehydration after working outside, loading materials into vehicles.

An employee was using a circular saw to cut a 4x4 post when the saw blade contacted his left middle finger, resulting in an amputation of approximately 40% of the finger.

On 9/5/2020, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a Lowe's employee was making a delivery at a customer's home. The employee had positioned a washer on the lift gate of the delivery truck and was attempting to step around the washer when he fell off the lift gate, which was raised several feet off the ground. As the employee fell, he grabbed the washer and pulled it down on top of him. The washer landed on his abdomen. He was hospitalized with fractured ribs, a fractured C7 vertebra, and a head injury.

An employee had been retrieving a one-gallon pail of paint from a shelf. While descending a three-step step ladder, the employee fell from the second step to the floor and sustained a broken hip.

The injured employee was helping a co-worker unpack a front load washer in the main drive aisle between appliances and plumbing. The injured employee went to step backwards and tripped. He fell backwards and landed flat on his back and his head struck the floor. He sustained a suspected brain bleed and concussion.

An employee was walking down the metal stairs from the palletizing room when he fell backward onto the steps. He sustained two left rib fractures that required hospitalization.

An employee was removing T-posts from the ground when he tripped and fell on his left arm, resulting in an elbow fracture that required hospitalization.

An employee was setting up for an event and carrying gates downhill. As the employee side-stepped down the slope, their right leg became caught in the compacted snow. The employee's momentum continued forward and their right leg remained fixed in the snow, causing fractures of the right tibia and fibula.

The injured employee was walking through the warehouse. Another associate was driving a forklift with a pallet of large format tile (slabs) when the slabs began to tip. The injured employee ran over to stop the slabs from falling, but the slabs fell on his lower left leg/foot. The employee sustained fractures in his lower leg and foot. He was hospitalized and required surgery.

An employee was doing a cutback on a piece of lumber using a chop saw. The saw hit a knot, the piece of lumber buckled, then kicked back and broke the kickback guard. The board was then pulled back into the blade, which lacerated the employee's left index and middle fingers.

On October 16, 2025, an employee was entering a parking lot after completing their work shift when they were struck by a vehicle being operated by a customer. The employee fell backward from the impact and the back of their head struck the asphalt. The employee was hospitalized due to brain bleed and a skull fracture.

An employee was descending a rolling ladder when she fell from the last step and her head struck the floor, resulting in a fractured pelvis.

On September 24, 2025, an employee was using a sledgehammer to straighten the forks on a forklift when a piece of metal broke off the fork and became lodged in the employee's leg. The employee was hospitalized.

An employee fell while exiting a trailer. The employee landed on their left side on the pavement, suffering multiple broken ribs on the left side. The employee was hospitalized.

Two employees were setting up a mandrel in the spindle of a machine. The mandrel was side-shifted while an employee's hand was on the mast of a powered industrial truck. The employee suffered crushing injuries that resulted in amputations to the middle and ring fingertips.

An employee had been loading a double deck press. The employee saw a mold had been sent in with the C-hook still attached on the belly bar. As he went to remove the hook from the mold, his right thumb got caught on the C-hook. The employee's thumb was partially amputated.

An employee was operating a roller and paving a small pathway next to a pavilion. The ground was on a slight pitch, causing him to reach up toward the roll cage to stabilize himself. His right fifth finger was pinched between the roll cage and the rafter of the pavilion. The employee sustained a partial degloving injury with partial traumatic amputation.

An employee was delivering home heating fuel when bees came from the ground and stung the employee's face, neck, torso, and hands. The employee proceeded to shut off the oil flow before losing consciousness. They were hospitalized due to an anaphylactic reaction.
