An employee was pouring metal from a ladle. As the employee was moving the ladle down the line, the tip of his right index finger got caught between the ladle and the I beam. The employee had about a pencil eraser width of his fingertip amputated.

An employee set a seal into a steering gear. When he went to hammer the seal into place, the hammer struck his left ring finger resulting in a fractured fingertip that required surgery.
