On October 26, 2016, at 12:00 p.m., an employee was using a pry-bar to raise the manholes to the level of the new pavement. The manhole cover slipped off of the pry-bar as he was reaching under the manhole cover and crushed the tip of his left middle finger. The tip of his left middle finger with some bone was amputated at the hospital.
